These terms govern your use of waterdamagerestorationconnecticut.com and the phone numbers shown on it. Effective date: October 31, 2026.
Plain-language summary
The short version; the numbered sections below are the actual terms.
- This Site is a call-in referral service. We do not do restoration work.
- Your call is connected to an independent contractor, who speaks with you on that call.
- Any agreement for work is between you and the contractor, not us.
- We do not call, text or email you, and we do not collect contact details for later contact.
- Information on the Site is general and is not professional, legal or insurance advice.
1. Acceptance
By using the Site or calling a number shown on it, you agree to these terms. The Site is operated by Muhammad Aamir Siddiqui ("we", "us"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
2. The referral service and independent contractors
When you call, your call is connected to an independent restoration contractor who serves your area. Contractors are separate businesses, not our employees or agents. We do not supervise, control or guarantee their work, availability, timing or results, and we make no claims about any contractor's licences, registrations, certifications or insurance. You are responsible for deciding whether to hire a contractor.
3. Agreements are between you and the contractor
Any estimate, contract, schedule, warranty or payment is agreed directly between you and the contractor during or after your call, on their terms. Before work starts, ask the contractor for their Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection home improvement registration where it applies, proof of insurance and a written scope of work [1].
4. Information on the Site is general
Pages on the Site explain water damage and restoration in general terms and cite public sources. They are not a substitute for an on-site assessment or for professional, legal, medical or insurance advice. Coverage decisions are made by your insurer under your policy.
5. Safety and emergencies
If there is danger to life, a gas smell, a fire or an electrical hazard, leave the building and call 911 and your utility. The Site does not offer or promise emergency or round-the-clock service or any response time.
6. Calls and call recording
Calls are inbound only: you choose to call. Calls may be recorded for quality and dispute purposes, and you will hear a notice if a call is recorded. By continuing the call you consent to that recording. We do not use your call to contact you later, and we do not send marketing calls, texts or emails. Nothing in these terms gives anyone permission to contact you after your call; anything arranged for later is agreed between you and the contractor during the call.
7. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the Site or the phone numbers, including by placing abusive, fraudulent or automated calls, attempting to disrupt the Site or copying its content at scale.
8. Intellectual property
The Site's text, design and images are owned by or licensed to the operator. You may view and share links to pages for personal use. Images are illustrative.
9. Third-party links
The Site links to public sources and other websites we do not control. We are not responsible for their content or practices.
10. Disclaimer
The Site and the referral service are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from work performed or not performed by any contractor. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site is limited to the greatest extent the law allows.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the operator from claims arising out of your misuse of the Site or your breach of these terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Connecticut, unless the law requires otherwise.
14. Changes and contact
These terms may be revised. A revision applies once posted, with a new effective date shown above, and using the Site afterwards means accepting it.
Should a court find any provision unenforceable, the remaining provisions still apply. Questions about these terms can be raised by phoning the number displayed on the Site.
