Every page here is meant to help someone with water in their home make a safe, informed decision. This page explains where the information comes from, how it is checked and what we will not publish.
Sources
Where the information comes from
Factual statements are based on public sources: U.S. EPA guidance on mold and flooded homes, Ready.gov and National Weather Service safety pages, American Red Cross guidance, the IICRC's published standards, Connecticut state agencies and encyclopedia entries for local geography and storm history. Each page lists its sources, and numbered references in the text point to them.
Local details about Connecticut cities, rivers and storms come from published sources, not from claims about specific jobs. We do not invent local projects, customers or results.
