Scope of this policy
This policy applies to information gathered through the Site and through calls placed to numbers displayed on it. "We", "us" and "our" refer to the Site and its operator.
Contractors reached through the Site are independent businesses outside this policy. Whatever you share with one, and any arrangement you make, falls under that contractor's own privacy practices; ask them for details.
Information we collect
Collection is limited to what routing calls and operating the Site require.
- Call informationWhen you call, our call-routing provider records technical details such as the calling number, the time and length of the call, the area the call came from and which contractor it was connected to. Calls may be recorded for quality and dispute purposes; if a call is recorded, you will hear a notice at the start of the call.
- Site usage informationLike most websites, our hosting provider automatically receives standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and the time of the request, used for security and to keep the Site working.
- What you choose to sayAnything you say on a call, such as a description of the damage, is heard by the contractor you are connected with.
Information we do not collect
The Site has no forms. We do not ask for or store your name, email address, mailing address or payment details through the Site. We do not collect contact details so that anyone can contact you later. We do not knowingly collect sensitive data as defined in Connecticut law.
How we use information
We use the limited information described above to:
- connect your call to a contractor who serves your area;
- keep records of connected calls for quality, billing between businesses and dispute resolution;
- keep the Site secure, working and free of abuse; and
- meet legal obligations.
No outbound contact and no marketing
This is a call-in service only. We do not make outbound calls, send text messages or send emails to callers, and we do not use your information for marketing. We do not pass your details to anyone so that they can contact you. Anything arranged after your call, such as a visit, is agreed between you and the contractor during the call.
Retention and security
Call records are kept only as long as needed for the purposes above, usually no longer than required for business records and dispute resolution, and then deleted. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no system is perfectly secure.

Making a privacy request
Call the number shown on the Site and say you want to make a privacy request. Because we hold very little information, we will ask for the phone number you called from and the approximate date of the call so we can find any record. We respond within 45 days, and may extend that once by another 45 days when reasonably necessary, telling you why. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. Until a dedicated privacy email address is published on this page, requests are handled by phone.
Children
The Site is intended for adults dealing with property damage. It is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.
Links to other sites
The Site links to public sources such as government agencies. Their privacy practices are their own.
